APP Tour receives endorsement of newly formed Super Senior Pro Council

A newly formed Super Senior Pro Council chaired by Mark “Yoda” Friedenberg and co chaired by Chris Powers have endorsed the APP Tour as the tour for the Super Seniors.

The APP Tour, the Official Pro Partner of USA Pickleball, has also received the endorsement of the Senior Pro Council earlier this fall.

“APP’s vision for the Super Senior Pros will be to grow, embellish and showcase these pioneer leaders in our sport by offering two “pilot” tour stops early in the 2022 calendar with our tier I tournaments in Delray Beach, Florida (60 & above) and Prescott, Arizona (65 & above)”, says CEO & Creative Founder Ken Herrmann.

APP will add prize money for these talented pros and their tour will be treated and respected just like the amateur, pro and senior pro tours currently established with APP.

“The Super Senior Council is thrilled to collaborate with Ken Hermann and APP”, says Powers.
“We are confident that this is going to be a win-win for everyone and thank you Ken Hermann and your fantastic APP team for ALL you do to represent not only amateurs, Pros and Senior Pros, but now Super Senior Pros as well.”

“For the Super Seniors, the future is now! Thank you Ken Hermann for believing in the Super Seniors! They will enhance the APP Tour by showcasing the Super Seniors to all players, spectators and video viewers and further grow this exciting game we all love!” says Mark Friedenberg.

The Super Senior Pro Council consists of six individuals, many of whom have been inducted into The Pickleball Hall of Fame. (Facebook Post)
