Tournament Highlights

One person's highlights is another person's "meh". Here is what I liked from Hilton Head. Not necessarily long rallies though. MXD GOLD: David/Wilson vs Koop/Navratil at point 4-1 in game 1. Zane runs back behind Koop after Koop thinks point is over because she couldn't get to ball. WD backdraw (court 2) Ansboury/Kawamoto vs Stratman/Braverman. Game point 14-12. Braverman drops paddle and cheering while Ansboury runs back and gets the ball. Gold MD: JW runs behind Dylan as Dylan ducks. Game 3 point 4-5. Similar at point 1-5 which turned the tide in game 3. Also a funny game point from Frazier in game 2 10-9. Also Dylan's matrix move in game 1 at 1-3. What some of these rallies have in common is your partner stepping in and getting to the ball. Teamwork. Makes me think of themes for highlights: teamwork the rally that turned the tide never give up on a point (or it's not over until it's over) Then as a Blooper highlight: There's always the ball that was whiffed. I know I saw a great one at Texas Open where player looked like they were going to nail the smash then whiffed. I think it was WD but can't remember where.
